Nuance Communications, a Microsoft subsidiary that provides clinical documentation services to healthcare professionals, reached an agreement to pay $8.5 million to settle a complaint stemming from the MOVEit data breach.
Government agencies, financial institutions, universities, and businesses around the world used MOVEit. Under the agreement class members can file for two years of credit monitoring, and reimbursement of either pro rata or for documented losses.
