Novo Nordisk Protests Jurisdiction in Louisiana Ozempic Suit

Danish drugmakers Novo Nordisk A/S and Novo Nordisk North America Operations A/S say a Louisiana federal court can’t hear a woman’s suit saying Ozempic injured her.

Jaclyn Bjorklund sued in the US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, alleging she was harmed by Ozempic and a similar Eli Lilly & Co. drug, Mounjaro. She says she suffered extreme vomiting, including bouts so severe that she lost teeth.
