Novo Nordisk, Lilly Sued Over Ozempic, Mounjaro Side Effects

Novo Nordisk Inc. and Eli Lilly & Co. were hit with a lawsuit alleging the widely prescribed diabetes drugs Ozempic and Mounjaro caused a Louisiana woman to suffer vomiting so severe it caused her to lose teeth.

The companies failed to warn that the medications can cause extreme vomiting and a type of stomach paralysis, Jaclyn Bjorklund alleges in a suit filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.
