Netflix Resolves Copyright Spat on Origins of ‘Rez Ball’ Script

Netflix Inc., LeBron James, and other producers of the 2024 film “Rez Ball” have reached a dismissal agreement with a Montana-based filmmaker after he alleged they copied his script for another film.

Judge Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha dismissed the suit with prejudice and vacated further proceedings in a Wednesday order for the US District Court for the Central District of California.
