NBC Settles Dispute Over Elon Musk-Christine Baranski Met Photo

NBCUniversal Media LLC resolved a copyright claim over a photo of Elon Musk at the Met Gala used during a June 2022 “Late Night with Seth Meyers” segment without permission.

Seth Meyers showed the photo on air when he was interviewing Christine Baranski, who can be seen glaring at Musk at the Met Gala in the photograph initially taken by Sinna Nasseri, licensed to Vogue, and assigned to plaintiff Strange Victory Inc.
