Longhorn Automotive Group LLC filed complaints Tuesday against Mitsubishi Motor Corp. and Mazda Motor Corp. in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Texas-based Longhorn claims both automakers offer headlights, remote safety features, automated driver assistance, and fuel-efficienct engine technology that infringe Longhorn’s patents.
Longhorn already has suits pending in the Eastern District of Texas against Volvo Car Corp. and Nissan Motor Co. over the same patents.
