Michigan Taco Bells Agree to Pay $100,000 in EEOC Consent Decree

Two Taco Bell franchisees in the Midwest agreed to pay $100,000 to five female employees to end claims that the companies allowed them to be sexually harassed by an area coach.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission entered into a consent decree with Sundance Inc. and Black River Bells LLC by which they agreed to conduct training on sex discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation, and to disseminate anti-harassment policies to their workers. The decree was approved Tuesday by Judge Mark A. Goldsmith of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
