The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is suing on behalf of female workers employed by Teamlyders LLC and other affiliated companies doing business as Taco Bell restaurants, alleging discrimination and retaliation.
The EEOC alleges that the companies’ two owners, who operate Taco Bell restaurants in Michigan, violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by allowing an area coach to sexually harass female employees and create a hostile work environment, according to the EEOC’s complaint filed Feb.28 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
