Massachusetts Appeals Court Justice Gabrielle Wolohojian was confirmed to serve on the state’s highest court Wednesday in spite of concerns from the public about her former romantic partnership with the governor.
The Governor’s Council, an eight person panel that approves judicial nominations, voted 6-1 to confirm Wolohojian after downplaying the significance of her ties to Gov. Maura Healey (D) at a recent hearing.
