Marriott, Workers Seek Nod for Deal Ending Kronos-Hack Wage Suit

Marriott International Inc. and workers who say it failed to properly pay them after a cyberattack disrupted third-party timekeeping system Kronos asked a federal judge to sign off on a $375,000 settlement.

The deal recovers at least $40 for each worker in the Fair Labor Standards Act collective, and approximately 2,900 people who worked for Marriott in Tennessee during the outage are eligible to join that group, according to settlement documents filed in the US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee on Monday.
