Former Baltimore state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby now has a written opinion denying her bid for acquittal on a single count of making false statements on a loan application.
Judge Lydia Kay Griggsby had already denied Mosby’s acquittal motion, ruling from the bench on Feb. 16. The judge’s opinion explaining her reasoning in more detail was filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Maryland.
