A cannabis company backed out of its lawsuit Tuesday alleging Auburn Hills, Mich. flouted its own procedures when it awarded a rival business licenses to sell recreational marijuana.
JAR Capital LLC—doing business as Joyology—filed a notice of voluntary dismissal without prejudice in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The company alleged in March that Auburn Hills violated its right to due process and various state and local laws when it awarded four licenses to a competing marijuana business owner.
