Management Association’s Revised Breach Deal Gets Court Nod

HR-services provider MRA—The Management Association Inc. won initial court approval for the second time for a revised $775,000 proposed settlement of a lawsuit arising from a 2023 data breach.

Judge J.P. Stadtmueller of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin granted the plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary approval of the settlement April 10, five months after he had approved an earlier version of the deal that omitted a separate January 2024 data incident that the class action was intended to cover.
