LivePerson Defeats Claims It Misled Investors About WildHealth

LivePerson Inc. and its top executives persuaded a federal court to toss claims that they deceived investors by overstating the financial prospects of subsidiary WildHealth Inc.

Shareholder Noam Damri failed to show that the company’s statements about WildHealth’s outlook were intentionally misleading at the time, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said Wednesday.

The proposed class action claims “fall well short” of showing LivePerson unlawfully deceived investors, Judge Paul A. Engelmayer wrote, granting LivePerson’s motion to dismiss the complaint with prejudice.
