LivePerson Allegedly Misled Investors on Medicare Reimbursement

LivePerson Inc. and two top executives allegedly misrepresented the company’s internal controls and concealed that reimbursements essential to subsidiary WildHealth Inc.’s business model had been suspended, according to a class action lawsuit.

The mobile and online messaging company, which uses artificial intelligence on its platform, acquired precision medicine service WildHealth in February 2022. Six months later WildHealth received notice that it would no longer receive Medicare reimbursements related to its Covid-19 testing program, which the parent company failed to disclose, according to the complaint filed Dec. 1 in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. ...
