Lenovo Settles Yoga Computer Buyers’ Claims Over Flawed Hinges

Several consumers who alleged Lenovo United States Inc. marketed Yoga laptop computers with flawed hinges have settled their individual claims against the company.

The computers’ name comes from the flexibility of a dual-hinge system that allows it to be used as a laptop or a tablet. The plaintiffs filed a proposed class suit alleging that the hinges crack and fail, rendering them inoperable and making it impossible to change the configuration of the devices.
