Class counsel in a lawsuit against Altria Group Inc., stemming from claims that it deceptively marketed Juul e-cigarette products to minors, are entitled to $13.7 million in fees plus $1 million in costs a federal court said.
The fee is 30% of the $45.5 million settlement between Altria and the plaintiffs in the multi-district litigation, Judge William H. Orrick III said Wednesday in an opinion for the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
