LA Prosecutor Charged With Data Access Crimes Moves Toward Trial

A Los Angeles County Assistant District Attorney charged with accessing confidential information is heading toward trial after a court ruling Tuesday allowed her felony charges to proceed.

The Los Angeles County Superior Court, following a preliminary hearing, said prosecutors had “met their burden of reasonable suspicion” to move ahead on six of the eight felony counts against Diana Teran. However Judge Sam Ohta tossed two of the charges against Teran.
