Vape manufacturer Juul Labs has struck a settlement with the state of Florida, agreeing to pay out $79 million and adhere to a slew of strict limits on advertising to youth in the state, according to a settlement agreement made public Monday.
The consent judgment ends a 2023 suit by the Florida attorney general’s office, which claimed the e-cigarette giant’s marketing strategies illegally targeted underage users.
