Insight Venture Partners LLC has prevailed at Delaware’s highest court over an investor challenge to a $1.2 billion deal between two fintech firms it controlled.
The Delaware Supreme Court affirmed a Chancery Court opinion that found Insight wasn’t liable for investor losses following cloud-based banking software firm nCino Inc.'s 2021 purchase of SimpleNexus. The high court didn’t elaborate on its decision in the two-page order issued Thursday.
