Virginia-based Inova Health Care Services agreed to pay about $3.1 million to settle claims that its use of tracking tools from Meta Platforms and Google illegally disclosed personal information to third parties.
Class counsel—McGuire Law PC and Michie Hamlett PLLC—saidthe settlement is fair and reasonable as it provides meaningful relief to the class, and asked the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia for 33% of the settlement fund.
