Halo Innovations Gets Nod For $1.5 Million Bassinet Class Deal

A $1.5 million deal set to resolve allegations that Halo Innovations Inc. knowingly sold unsafe baby bassinets that tilted won preliminary approval.

Judge Jessica G. L. Clarke of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York granted the first nod Monday. The court appointed Angeion Group as the settlement administrator.

Consumers sued in 2023 and alleged Halo’s BassiNest Flex product was falsely advertised as a flat sleep surface though the design could cause babies to roll on to their side. The bassinet is based on a cantilever design where only one side is structurally supported. The product ...
