H&R Block will no longer face a legal complaint from a woman whose concerns about the tax filing service’s use of Meta’s Pixel and Google Analytics were sent to arbitration.
Michelle Pabon said it was improper for H&R Block to disclose her private tax information through the online trackers. The US District Court for the Eastern District of New York said she signed a valid arbitration agreement that covered the privacy claims.
