H&R Block Inc. succeeded in demonstrating that someone who used its platform to file taxes agreed to arbitrate claims that the company improperly shared info with Meta Platforms through its Pixel.
To use H&R Block, plaintiff Michelle Pabon had to check an online box acknowledging that she accepted an agreement that included an arbitration provision, the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York said.
