Getir US Inc. is free of a suit accusing the app-based grocery delivery service of stiffing workers on pay after after a federal judge in New York signed off Monday on workers’ plan to drop the case.
The three workers who filed the wage-and-hour suit stipulated that their claims fell under arbitration agreements they signed with Getir. Judge Eric N. Vitaliano of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York approved their plan to voluntarily dismiss the would-be Fair Labor Standards Act collective.
