Google, Flo Privacy Plaintiffs Want Meta’s Help Contacting Class

Plaintiffs who obtained multi-million dollar data privacy settlements in litigation against Google LLC and Flo Health Inc. want a court to order Meta Platforms Inc. to provide more assistance finding class members.

The motion seeking preliminary approval of the deals, filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, included new details about how the parties plan to provide direct notice to the class.

Google collected sensitive medical information from plaintiffs through software embeded into Flo’s menstrual tracking app, the plaintiffs said.
