Flo Privacy Suit May Cost Meta Billions as Judge Backs Users (1)

A San Francisco federal judge signaled he favored a proposed remedies plan by a class of Flo Health Inc. users that could swell to billions of dollars in damages owed by Meta Platforms Inc. over privacy violations.

The class could ultimately include some 1.6 million claimants, an estimate that will be verified using data provided by Flo, class counsel Michael P. Canty of Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP told Judge James Donato.
