Goodyear Worker Drops Wage Lawsuit Tied to Kronos Cyberattack

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is free of wage-and-hour allegations stemming from a cyberattack on its third-party timekeeping system after a former employee voluntarily dropped his suit.

The tire manufacturer didn’t make sure workers received proper overtime payments after an outage sidelined Ultimate Kronos Group’s timekeeping service, the worker alleged in the US District Court for the District of Arizona earlier this month. He voluntarily dismissed the case without prejudice Tuesday.
