Full Sixth Circuit to Review Ohio AG’s Acts on Immunity Vote

The full Sixth Circuit said Monday that it would hear a case about actions Ohio’s attorney general took to delay a vote on a proposed constitutional amendment that would end qualified immunity for public employees like police officers.

The brief order from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit doesn’t note which judges chose to vacate a divided panel’s decision ordering Attorney General Dave Yost (R) to stop blocking the proposed ballot measure, just that a majority of active ones did so.
