A class of Frontier Airlines customers suing the air carrier can only continue with a breach of contract grievance after a district court adopted a magistrate judge’s findings that nearly all of their claims are deficient.
The customers allege Frontier is violating Florida consumer protection statutes through a “bait and switch” fee structure they say is deceiving consumers at the time of their ticket purchase. Baggage fees, among others, “water down” the purportedly attractive airfares, the customers say.
