Former Legal Answer Edge Consultant Drops Overtime Lawsuit

A former worker for Legal Answer Edge LLC quit pursing a proposed wage collective action alleging he and other “consultants” were misclassified as independent contractors and didn’t receive overtime pay.

The US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee terminated the case Wednesday following Lee Johnson’s move dismissing his suit that same day. Johnson sued the call center in June for failing to abide by the Fair Labor Standard Act’s overtime provisions.
