A man who conducted employment investigations for Wells Fargo agreed to settle allegations he was fired for taking leave to take care of his wife.
Michael Pepin’s case was dismissed without prejudice after reaching a settlement in principle, a Thursday order in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said. Wells Fargo Bank N.A., Lateral Link Group Inc., and McGuireWoods LLP were named as defendants; Pepin alleged he was jointly employed by all three entities.
