The company behind fantasy sports site FantasyPros dropped its case against a competitor alleging the rival used confidential information to violate intellectual property rights.
Judge Andrew P. Gordon, of the US District Court for the District of Nevada, dismissed the case with prejudice Monday after the companies filed a June 13 joint stipulation. Marzen Media LLC, which operates FantasyPros, sued FL Newsletter LLC, which owns an online platform for fantasy sports betting, last year alleging copyright infringement and other claims under Nevada state law.
