Environmental Law Group Quashes Disability Discrimination Suit

The Environmental Law & Policy Center shed a former employee’s lawsuit alleging disability discrimination and retaliation.

Samantha Suarez’s claims will be dismissed with prejudice unless she can file an amended complaint by May 28, the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said in a Monday opinion granting the legal advocacy group’s dismissal motion. Suarez sued the group in October 2025, claiming it unlawfully ignored her remote work requests and fired her after she sought disability accommodations.
