Drag Queen Vicky Vox Appeals Dismissal of Suit Over Her Likeness

Drag queen Vicky Vox is challenging the dismissal of her lawsuit against Netflix and several creators and producers of an animated series for allegedly using her likeness without permission.

Vox, also known as Lance Hara, sued Netflix, the creators and producers of “Q-Force,” in May seeking to enjoin the streaming platform from using her image and likeness. The US District Court for the Central District of California dismissed Vox’s federal claims with prejudice on Oct. 26 for failure to state a claim.
