DOJ Asks to Intervene in LA Public School Discrimination Suit

The US Department of Justice moved to intervene Wednesday in a lawsuit alleging the Los Angeles public school district allocates resources based on race, disadvantaging schools with more White students.

“The United States intervenes, because ending all discrimination in schools is of general public importance,” DOJ’s proposed complaint in intervention said.
