Dior Foundation False-Ad Case Could Get Renewed Look From Judge

Christian Dior Perfumes LLC potentially faces further litigation in a lawsuit accusing the cosmetics company of deceptively advertising foundation makeup products following a recent ruling from the the Ninth Circuit in a separate case.

Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley of the US District Court for the Northern District of California on Wednesday said she’d reconsider her earlier dismissal of Alexis Slaten’s proposed class action, which alleged Dior’s Forever Foundation and Forever Skin Glow Foundation misled buyers into thinking the products have SPF 15 sun protection that lasts for 24 hours.
