Christian Dior Perfumes LLC succeeded in getting a proposed class action suit tossed, alleging the company deceptively advertises the duration of sun protection factor in its foundation makeup products.
Based on the Dior Forever Foundation’s front label, lead plaintiff Alexis Slaten believed the product would provide cosmetic coverage for 24 hours and SPF 15 sun protection for more than two hours, bringing false labeling claims under California consumer protection laws.
