The Detroit Tigers reached an agreement with a 58-year-old former visiting team clubhouse manager to dismiss his age discrimination claims after the baseball team was denied summary judgment.
John Nelson had sufficiently demonstrated there was a genuine dispute of material fact over whether his termination was related to age bias after he was replaced by a 34-year-old, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan had ruled.
