Delta, Flight Attendants’ $15.9 Million Deal Gets Final Approval

A federal judge gave final approval to a $15.9 million deal settling a Delta Air Lines Inc. class action covering nearly 4,200 flight attendants in California who allege the company failed to adequately pay them for hours worked.

The lawsuit, filed in 2015, alleged that Delta didn’t accurately state flight attendants’ total hours worked or their pay rates on their wage statements, in violation of California law. Judge William H. Orrick of the US District Court for the Northern District of California approved the settlement agreement Wednesday after giving the deal a preliminary nod in July.
