Dave & Buster’s No Longer Faces Class Suit Over Online Tracking

Dave & Buster’s Entertainment Inc. will no longer face a proposed class action from two plaintiffs who alleged that it failed to implement a sufficiently functional cookie banner on its website.

The California residents alleged that although Dave & Buster’s cookie banner represented that users could reject all cookies used for website analytics and data sharing with advertising partners, it installed some third-party trackers regardless, according to a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
