CT Transit Driver Suit Proceeds Over Covid Disinfectant Allergy

CT Transit, a subsidiary of Connecticut’s Department of Transportation, lost its bid Friday to avoid a trial over claims brought by bus drivers alleging they unlawfully lost pay after having allergic reactions to disinfectants used to clean buses during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Magistrate Judge Maria E. Garcia, of the US District Court for the District of Connecticut, denied summary judgment motions brought by both the drivers and H.N.S. Management Company, which operates CT Transit through a contract with the Connecticut DOT.
