A court administrator and a legal news outlet agreed to close constitutional claims alleging a policy in the state of Massachusetts unlawfully delays the public’s access to state court filings.
Court administrator Thomas Ambrosino and Courthouse News Service moved to dismiss their case without prejudice in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. The outlet sued Ambrosino in June 2025, claiming the policy violated its First Amendment right of access.
