Coca-Cola Sued for Healthy Portrayal of Minute Maid Juice Boxes

Coca-Cola Co. deceptively portrays Minute Maid juice boxes as a healthy alternative to fresh fruit when the drinks contain high amounts of sugar, which increases the risk of chronic disease, a new proposed class suit alleges.

The suit was filed by the law firm Fitzgerald Joseph LLP, whose attorneys have filed and settled other suits alleging products have high amounts of sugar, yet are portrayed as healthy eating options.
