Christian Delaware Healthcare Workers Lose Covid-Vaccine Appeals

Eight Christian employees fired for refusing to receive Covid-19 vaccines failed to link their shot objections to their religious beliefs, a divided Third Circuit ruled Friday, affirming dismissal of their discrimination law suits.

The ruling seemingly broke ranks with recent decisions in which other circuits found a lower court too quickly rejected failure-to-accommodate claims by religious workers denied vaccine mandate exemptions during the pandemic.
