Charter Communications, Ex-NY1 Producer Resolve Sex Bias Suit

A former New York television producer and Charter Communications Inc. have agreed to end her suit claiming she was fired for denying her boss’ sexual advances and for resisting Charter’s alleged discriminatory behavior against women, according to a stipulation from the parties.

Karin Garfin, a former producer for NY1, alleged that she was subjected to sexual harassment and faced discrimination and retaliation based on her sex.
