Casinos Challenge Florida’s Seminole Tribe Sports Betting Pact

The casino industry is launching an attack on Florida’s exclusive deal with the Seminole Indian Tribe to bring sports betting to the Sunshine State.

The latest complaint, filed Wednesday in Leon County Circuit Court by Protect The Constitution LLC, comes after with litigation horse racing companies filed directly in the Florida Supreme Court. That lawsuit, and separate litigation in federal court, was dismissed mostly on procedural grounds.
