Carvana Escapes Proposed Online Tracker Privacy Class Lawsuit

A Californian withdrew his online privacy complaint against Carvana, which alleged that it installed tracking tools from Google, Meta Platforms, and The Trade Desk on its website.

Saleem Erakat alleged the used car retailer collected user data like IP addresses, browsing behavior, and specific vehicle pages consumers viewed, according to the complaint originally in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
