The University of California Student Association dropped its lawsuit against the Education Department on Wednesday, ending its bid to stop the disclosure of information to the Department of Government Efficiency.
The group filed a notice of voluntary dismissal in the US District Court for the District of Columbia. The withdrawal came eight days after the Trump administration asked for the suit to be dismissed. The group alleged that the US Department of Education was illegally giving DOGE access sensitive personal and financial information.
