JBS Souderton Inc. couldn’t strike the suit’s classwide allegations on behalf of the nine plaintiffs and similar Black employees, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said Tuesday. The class claims assert that Black workers during a four-year period were denied employment based on their race, paid less than workers outside their protected class, illegally denied promotion, and unlawfully fired, the court said.
